Our Mission: To provide a curriculum that encourages our students to think critically and creatively, collaborate and communicate, and transfer what they have learned to new information, problems and unforeseen situations.
Our Approaches to Learning and Teaching:
- Integrated Pedagogy: We follow a consistent pedagogical approach that is adopted and implemented by the whole school in every lesson and every learning environment.
- Conceptual Understanding: By focusing on concepts, we help students deepen academic knowledge, make connections, and transfer it to new contexts.
- Inquiry Learning: We encourage students to investigate things that interest them and are curious about through inquiry-based activities integrated into our curriculum.
- Contextual Learning: By using real-life contexts and examples, we enable students to relate new information to their own experiences and the world around them.
- Inclusive Education: We offer an inclusive educational environment that values different learning styles and needs and helps each student achieve their potential.
- Assessment and Feedback: We use both formative and summative assessment to measure and support learning, providing students with regular and objective feedback on their progress.
- Individual Learning Plans: We develop personalized learning plans, taking into account each student’s individual needs and learning styles.
- Goal Setting and Progress Tracking: We set achievable and challenging goals for students and support them to achieve them. We regularly track each student’s progress and provide additional support when necessary.
